Accessibility
This site is built to be usable without a mouse, without motion, and without a fast connection.
Where we stand
The target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and the site is built to meet it. If you find something that does not work, telling us is the fastest way to get it fixed.
Motion
The site’s only motion is short reveal transitions as content enters the viewport. If your system is set to reduce motion, those transitions are removed and everything renders immediately at full opacity. No content or meaning depends on animation.
The spherical imagery throughout the site is static CSS — it does not animate, autoplay, or flash.
Keyboard
Everything interactive is reachable and operable by keyboard. Focus is always visible, drawn in the accent colour at a 2px offset. A skip link is the first focusable element on every page.
Structure
Pages use semantic landmarks and one h1 each, with headings in order. Status labels, loop stages, and platform variants are real text in the document, so screen readers reach them. Decorative spheres are marked aria-hidden because they carry no information that is not also in the text.
Contrast
Body text meets or exceeds 4.5:1 against its background in every tonal chapter, including the dark ones. Technical metadata, which is smaller, is held above 4.5:1 rather than relying on the large-text exemption.
Status information
Status labels are never conveyed by colour alone. They are text, they are deliberately not colour-coded, and each links to the disclosures page. Material status information appears next to the claim it qualifies at readable size, not in small print at the bottom of the page.
Zoom and reflow
Content reflows to 320px width and supports 200% zoom without loss of function or horizontal scrolling.
